Hiring Terms & Conditions

Please carefully review the following Terms & Conditions. Acceptance of these terms is required prior to proceeding with any bookings or services provided by Via Wedding Decorations.

1. Security Bond

  • A refundable security bond is required for all hire items.

  • The bond will be refunded in full once all items are returned or collected at the agreed time, and in the same condition they were originally provided.

  • If delivery and setup are included, the bond will be refunded after pack-down and collection of all hired items.

  • Deductions may apply for loss, damage, late returns, or extended hire periods.


2. Care and Use of Props

  • All props remain the property of Via Wedding Decorations at all times.

  • Hired items must not be removed, relocated, or sub-hired by the client or venue without written approval from Via Wedding Decorations.

  • Clients must ensure that all props are stored safely and protected from damage, especially from weather conditions such as wind and rain.


3. Booking, Deposits & Payments

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is used to reserve your event date exclusively, and we do not accept other bookings for that day.

  • Full payment of the remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your event.

  • Delivery and setup will not be confirmed until full payment is received.

  • Bookings are not held without a deposit.

  • Quotes issued are valid for 5 days from the date of issue.


4. Delivery & Collection

  • Standard delivery includes street-level or ground-floor access.

  • If your venue requires delivery to upper levels with stairs and no lift, you must notify us before the deposit is paid, as an additional surcharge may apply.

  • If collecting and returning items, pickup and drop-off is available from Belfield 2194.


5. Hire Period & Returns

  • Items must be returned at the agreed time.

  • Additional hire fees may apply for late returns unless prior arrangements are made and confirmed by Via Wedding.

  • Extended hire must be discussed and approved in advance.


6. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the booking deposit.

  • If the cancellation occurs 14 days or less before the event, the full invoice amount is payable.

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing.


7. Liability

  • The client accepts full responsibility for all hired items from the time of delivery until collection or return.

  • Props are hired at the client’s own risk, and any damage, loss, or neglect during the hire period is the responsibility of the hirer.

  • The client agrees to cover any losses, damages, or additional expenses incurred due to a breach of these terms.
